Hull type: Hard chine hull with built-in spray deflector/hull
stabilizer, convex bulbous deep vee entrance and flaring topsides forward, and
modified vee aft with flatter sections for stability and lower power
requirements. Hull intended for cold-molded multi-diagonal wood or plywood
planking (thickness of 1 1/4" on bottom, 1" on sides), or
"one-off" fiberglass hull construction.
Power: Twin inboard in-line engines, either gasoline or diesel powered. Single
engine optional, but not detailed. Recommended practical speed range is 15 to
22 knots, although speeds to approximately 28 knots are possible.
Can the hull be extended or shortened? Yes. Up to 10% by re-spacing the frames
from the aft end of the stem to the transom a proportional amount. We do not
recommend increasing the beam. |
