Hull type: Hard chine hull form with convex bulbous deep vee
entry and flaring topsides forward, and modified vee aft with flatter sections
for stability and lower power requirements. Tri-mode hull form allows practical
operation at displacement, semi-displacement, or full planing speeds. Hull
intended for cold-molded, multi-diagonal wood or plywood planking (thickness of
3/4" on sides, 1" on bottom), or "one-off" fiberglass
construction.
Power: Twin inboard in-line engines, either gasoline or diesel powered. Single
engine optional but not detailed. Recommended practical speed range is 14-17
knots, although speeds to approximately 27 knots are possible.
Can the hull be extended or shortened? Yes. Up to 10% by re-spacing the frames
from the aft end of the stem to the transom a proportional amount. We do not
recommend increasing the beam. |
