Mahogany & Ash: Mahogany was rough cut 2" x 10'. I found one of the boards was 2" on one end and 2 1/8" on the other. Unfortunately, I found this out after I ripped my veneer. That made the final layer more difficult.

I cut 3/16" strips. After removing the saw marks and more sanding I ended up with 1/8". (Jan. 06)
