I used an off-the-shelf 26 gallon tank. It's 2" wider than the support to help keep water from getting under the tank. The tank is slightly off center because of the exhaust. I'll offset the batteries the other way to balance the trim, based on half a tank of fuel.

The rear seat and seat back are removable. This allows access to repack the rudder shaft and check or pull the fuel tank. The batteries mount under the seat.
