Joel Grieshaber & crew sail their SABOTEER (above) on the lakes of New Mexico. This was Joel's first boatbuilding experience, and the local newspaper featured Joel's efforts in full color on a section front page. Even though he calls himself a "rank amateur", Joel's results look professional. This is partly because he used our resins, paints, sail, and hardware since these things either weren't available or of as high a quality locally. Nice job Joel & thanks for the photos!

Some random notes from Mark Halkin in New York, builder of SABOTEER shown above.
"She's a great all around dinghy... The sail I purchased from you sets VERY nicely. I had her out on the Hudson River today.  She handles large wakes from the passing tugs and barges very well and is extremely well balanced under sail.  She has great load carrying capacity... wanted to let you know how pleased I am with its performance ... I'm already thinkng about the next project... Thanks for a well designed "SABOTEER".

SABOTEER (Left) by Florida builder David Pfautz

His mast and boom from aluminum tubing may be suitable for the temporary undersized 38 square foot sail he is using but a little light for the standard sail area specified. Our plans detail wood for mast and boom which we prefer for low cost, strength, and appearance. He also added a "kick-up" rudder he designed and built himself from wood.

From PORTUGAL came this letter from SABOTEER builder, Armando Reid F.:

"The boat is growing beautiful, everyday I like it more and more. I am coming to the little details. [It] was very easy to build and most important, I did not have to put all the money out at once. I am sending you an order for the trailer plan and hardware kit. I can’t wait to go sailing."
