Ken Tyson of TEXAS probably could have bought most any boat.
Instead, he chose to build our TRUE GRIT design using
epoxy/plywood construction. Part of the reason? To get
a boat exactly the way he wanted it. Here are some of
the features he included:
Increased hull length to 27'; 5kw 110VAC generator
belted off Perkins M60 diesel to power various equipment such
as 12,000 btu/AC, microwave, & battery charger; 110 gals
fuel; reverse osmosis watermaker; hot & cold pressure
water system; refrigerator; cockpit shower; mast & boom;
radar; anchor windlass, & bow pulpit.
