Ken Tyson of TEXAS probably could have bought most any boat.
Instead, he chose to build our TRUE GRIT design using
epoxy/plywood construction. Part of the reason? To get
a boat exactly the way he wanted it. Here are some of
the features he included: "Your design (patterns & instructions) is a great one - I hope youll be as proud of her as we are. She is utilized as a cruiser, a dive boat, and a fishing boat. She has a very easy motion offshore and handles very well. The 2-1/2 years it took me to build her, alone, were well worth it! Thanks again - Ken Tyson, M.D." |
