Little Hunk Notes

Transom mount outboard option

WHAT IS HER DRAFT?
ANSWER: We don't normally figure this on small boats. We have a figure of 277 lbs per inch of immersion... which means, for every 277 lbs you add, the hull will sink approximately 1". If the hull weighs 700 lbs: it would sink about 2 1/2". Motor, people and stuff will change this. You should be able to figure the draft when you know these factors. Note: This is a dory, with a lot of flare, this means as weight is added, the amount required to sink an inch will be constantly increasing.
