thanks brian, that has cheers me up lots. i will strengthen the aft of the canoe and maybe all the way along with longitutional members too. hopfully i can work out a good way to fix the outrigger with stretched net onto the kayak so that would give me more working space and help with stabillaty. i ...

i was reading a book last week and it was suggested that intead of spray on foam that it was better to use foam/polysterene blocks instead. spayfoam is messy and if you need to make a repair to the hull it is hard/messy work to scrape it all away. plus when it gets wet it will mould and smell terrib...

like i have said earlier, alterations are not realy meant to be made without a navel arciteques approval. do you think the quest houseboat could be made a little longer? it says the cockpit plan would not work but could i go around that problem by re,designing it. do you think glen l witt or another...
