Re: Marine Electronics
Kens, Hi Buddy, great topic, thanks! I needed most of these answers, too. I still am yet to find a digital map of the Marshall Islands I can plug into a GPS. But, I'll try being polite for once  , and start a new topic, to see if anyone knows where/ how to accomplish this. We have many, many ...

Boat, Boat, Boat, Boat!
Bill, How goes it? I haven't been keeping up with the forum lately. I just tonight read through this entire post. Great work, another fine boat you've built! Where's your other boat? How did those repairs work out for you? Thanks again for letting us come and visit, last summer, I wish my wife came ...

Fusion
JB, Don't know that this'll help your piece of mind or not; my younger brother is off work for the next few months after just having spinal fusion on his last three vertebrae; he's been walking six miles a day, the P.T. is paying off; he's stiff, bending at the waist, but, with out pain for the firs...

bubbles
Around here, it's so hot and humid all year that epoxy goes off fast, bubbles appear if you are in the sun, especially as the day gets hotter. I've got to wait for evening to get any epoxy on the boat if I don't want to sand most of my money back off. The epoxy they have locally is about $500.00 per...

heater
Hey John, Are you going to try it? Let us know if it works. I waste a lot of time looking at the boat, drinking beer, waiting for the sun to start setting, so I can get the epoxy on with out all the bubbles. But, the idea of getting near my plywood and epoxy monsterpiece with a torch is SCARY! :shoc...

mistakes?
OK, Sit down and open a beer for this one:  When I was in the Navy,I'd go at lunch time to the Hull Technician shop, they were teaching me to weld. There, I knew a guy who would not even if ordered go near a grinder. As a welder he was done. When questioned by his Senior Chief as to "Why his ...

changes
Maurizio,
Merry Christmas, I'm glad to see the new hull is coming along so well. You work so quickly it surprises us guys who have to drink allot of beer and think about changes for weeks, before moving.
She looks great. I hope you get the ride you want from your new hull.
Aloha,
Gregg

roundhouse
Dave,
the round building is called the roundhouse; it houses a sixties era antenna, and, has been used for years as a place for guy's to work on their boats out of the weather. It's been condemned for the past couple of years, but, they'll never spend the money to tear it down.

Hi guy's, Thanks for the encouragement. Three of those kids are mine. with a couple more and a couple grandsons in Hawaii. We may loose our lease herein 2016. We'll have to wait and see. The engine should fit through the hole where the wall used to be. I'll lift it with a forklift and chain-fall. 55...
