Here is what I want… I have a LS 50hp Even sitting in my barn doing nothing. I want a boat for that. I want this boat to seats ...

I was looking at these just this morning… I was asking about rock guards because I keep tearing up props… these surface drives were suggested. I looked, but there is no way in the world I cold afford that for a motor… I might experiment and make my own somehow someday. http://www.prodriveoutboards.c...

Flats Flyer, or Garvey, or something else?

… Hi guys… I joined this site a few years ago when I was looking to build a Jon boat. Well, that never did happen. My neighbor sold me his aluminum Jon, with raised decks and steering consol… so, no build. I have had that boat for a while, and I just don’t like it. Right now I am in Iraq, but when I...

What is an old Evinrude 50 Sizzler worth?

I got it on a trade with the remote throttle control. He said it ran 3 years ago, the paint is very scratched up. There is some rust in the engine on the starter motor, but everything spins freely. The data plate is gone, but it is an early 70s motor. I want to sell it as is…. What should I ask? Wha...

I seen a guy glass the hole and then put a long balloon in the hole, and blow up the balloon holding the epoxy and glass tight to the sides of the hole…. But that was just for a drain hole… I don’t know if it would be true enough for a shaft… it there anyway you can sleeve it with an aluminum pipe?

One last thing as I read through this again… Dave… how did I insult you, be saying this metric bike will look just as good, sound just as good, be faster, quicker and require less maintenance? I didn’t say anything bad about Harley, only good about Metric… and because I did, I’m “feeble minded”? I d...

I have owned 2 Harley’s 2 Su...

I have the opertunity to get two jet motors

I found a guy that has two Seadoo's with broken hulls... he said they both ran but have been in the "junk" pile for a couple of years... he is thinking about what he wants for them, then I will counter.... I have no idea how big the motors are, but I was thinking about that I will get them and put o...

Aluminum repair, can I glass over it?

I just picked up a free 14' Jon, made by Sears... this thing has the thinest aluminum I have ever seen on a boat. the seats, are broken away from the hull, the transum is rotted, the bottom is dented and it leaks.... I figure new transome, plywood seats glassed in, glass the bottom and it should be ...
