Thanks, everybody. The boat is at the dealer. I saw the motor in its crate and it looks awesome! Ken, the rigger, has a template and he held that in place while I drilled out the mounting holes. Then I sealed them with some superfast epoxy. Ken seems to be a big fan of RTV sealant but I wanted the h...

I think you should have a main breaker near your power source (battery). Maybe that's your plan already.

I've found on plumbing projects that I usually just need to go and buy everything in the plumbing section even remotely related to my project and put it on the store card. Bring back the unused parts when done.

Neel, that's the plan! Taking her to the Evinrude dealer tomorrow.

I can't offer any new insight in WR-LPU. I have done the best I can considering the conditions. If I ever buff and polish it will be during the off season. For now, it is what it is.

Almost everybody has a chine or sheer break. If there is any imperfection in the grain of the wood in that forward area that's where it will break. The laminations do help to stabilize each other. Once the planking is on the boat will be one solid unit.
