Knock down---well, kind of.

Mark, I loved seeing you testing like that. With small children aboard you have more reason than most for knowing what the boat will, or will not do. Your 3rd photo sends chills down my spine! I built the Glenn-L 12 but they are similar in that they both have forward and side decking. Therefore, I h...

This is an interesting post Dave. I don't know what your plans tell you on this subject (hell, I don't know what mine say) but it always seemed reasonable to me to build the BOAT (keel) first, then fit the CB case to IT. Seems to me you're approaching it from the opposite direction. If you're confid...

OK I have a response here, at the risk of opening a can of worms. From fully, expensive, Epoxy encapsulated marine plywood you can reasonably expect a useful life of 26 YEARS. Whereas the 'cheap' B-D exterior, painted all-to-hell alternative will need replacement in a mere 24 YEARS! Grab a beer, sit...

Well, since you brought it up.......

Here's an article that says everything I want to say. http://www.miamidolphinsbahamas.com/sto ... ry0083.php (yes, I've been a Miami fan ever since I sat in the Orange Bowl for every one of Miami's home games during the '72 season.)

Gathering video???? DVD????? I have looked high and low for it on this site and have had no luck. Was it just a DVD sent out to attendees? If its here, where it be? Also, I haven't received the last two newsletters in my E-mail as in the past. I'm beginning to feel like the red-headed stepchild here...

BACK TO THE SUBJECT....my 11 year old grandson went fishing a couple weeks ago and asked me...."Papa, what do you want for Christmas"?. I thought about it awhile then said "OH! I know. I know. I want one of those BIG, solid chocolate Easter Bunnies in a box. The look on his face was precious....he s...

I purchased the same trailer but from Northern Tool in South Carolina (?) and it was shipped to me in Nevada. The very first thing the instructions said was to locate the C of O. I looked, it wasn't there and I shined it on ......not knowing the importance of it. Bottom line...a 6 week hold-up obtai...

You're right of course, 3 1/2 hours I figure. If I left this very minute I could be there at 11:00. Unfortunately, circumstances will not allow me to leave town today. I am disappointed. I will definitely be shooting for the May thing though! Have a good time......

I haven't posted any new pictures, every time I've been out since the tiller episode I've been alone. Also, I suffered an injury to my left ring finger (nothing that 9 stitches couldn't put back together) (and no, it wasn't a power tool) that cost me all of July and into August, FIVE WEEKS of not be...

[img] I believe the trailer I purchased is the same, except I ordered it online from Northern Tool. I paid more ($350) and it was shipped CROSS COUNTRY for $112. I have now about 8 trips on it, about 6-700 miles and it h...

Dave, please don't tell people about powering the boat onto the trailer. It is NEVER a good idea. When you're doing that you're digging a hole in the lakebed that people fall into and in which trailers get stuck. At the same time you're building a 'hump' behind it making for even less water getting ...
