Re: Rampage update 2019 - Final year?!

Wow Denon, your tenacity is so impressive--especially for a young man, which as I recall you are :D Good for you! We are all very proud of you and appreciate that you've shared so much of your project with us. I love the cushions and I totally agree about the piping and that Sailrite rocks. I've use...

Mario, I'm sorry I didn't see this on the Forum back in April but glad you contacted us directly and that we were able to get the parts you needed. These parts will work for the Tahoe and similar designs with a 12 degree motor, for those of you out there building the Tahoe. Depending on the engine, ...

Re: New member from Esbjerg, Denmark

Welcome Alex, all the way from Denmark! It's nice to have you join our Forum. The Malahini is a great design and many have built this boat all over the world. So, if you have specific questions feel free to ask. Location is irrelevant in this group unless you need hands-on assistance!

Welcome Stuey! You're a "self confessed boat tragic"? I think that may be what we would say as a boat addict in the US? We're glad you've found us and have joined our group! I hope we can assist with your tragedy!

Re: Deep V mod for Big Hunk

Peter, We don't recommend changing the bottom of a boat because it's just not something that's within the abilities of most beginning boat builders. And, it's really a design change best left to a naval architect. Changes like that will affect performance, so you really need to know what you're doin...

Re: Water lodge

Dan,

We don't recommend changing the length or beam on the Water Lodges. Take a look at our Mark Twain or Super Huck:

Re: Hello Hello

Welcome Oliver! A couple of other suggestions would be our Kingfisher or even our Bolero because it has a sleeping berth below and it's a cool design. Both of these are deep vees which is what you want for big water: Bolero: https://www.boatdesigns.com/products.asp?dept=200 Kingfisher: https://www.b...

Welcome Mark! I'm so sorry you didn't get a response. Did you send the message through this Forum or email? I usually get the emails and respond to them as promptly as possible but I don't recall yours. We'll certainly try and do better next time. I'm glad you got it worked out though and are here. ...

Welcome Timmy! I second Roberta in welcoming another boatbuilding girl. I wonder if I've spoke to you on the phone. It seems I've talked to a number of women looking to build boats and even a camper this year. Maybe it's a new trend...
