Just picked up plans and some books from the postman,had too pay 60$ tax!!!! :?
maybe i will rethink buying power tools if this is the standard deal,i'd hate to see the tax on that.

king tools

King Tools in the US have some great deals on new/factory reconditioned power tools (even better for the european buyer!!!).Ive been looking to pick up some,but will now have too look into this "tax issue" :shock:

Going With The (SCARPA) Flow....

have decided to size down......saves me some euro's on the cost front and as im going down the fibreglass hull road :wink: a millimeter should not make that much of an overall differance
P.S.....could have done with some european builders opinions :P

having to convert the plans to metric,i must use 3/8" sheets of ply for the hull...(9.5mm) i will have to make a choice of sizing up to 10mm or sizing down to 9mm and the carry on this sizing through-out the rest of the plans. i would like a heads up from the forum on whether i should size up or do...

I've found a local place about 15 mins away on my bike,WEST,500Euros for 30.L and im probably going to go with that and maybe try and get a deal if im lucky,the dutch are not so big on making deals.

Glen l will post but its pretty EXPENSIVE i saw WEST avalible online from england for about 265 pound for 30.L which i thought was a GREAT deal but again they won't send it outside the UK maybe they post too ireland dave

Epoxy EXPORT....

Does anyone know any epoxy suppliers that EXPORT epoxy out of the U.S.???
ive contacted maybe 10 so far and only glen l is willing to post Epoxy outside the U.S.
Most companys wont post the epoxy as it a HAZZERDOUS MATERIAL!!!

I have shortened my choice to 2 EPOXYs :- 1.WEST SYS 8gallon = 500Euros/675$ or 2.No Name Cheap Brand(BBC Epoxy) = 300Euros/400$ (Europe prices SUCK big time but postage for Epoxy from the US SUCKS MORE!! :shock: ) I wondering what the pros/cons of using CHEAP brands against a well known product lik...
