A Chance to Own History

Melanie cleaned out her closets today and decided to part with a lot of T-shirts she's acquired over the years. She seldom wears T-shirts. Anyhow, included in that is her Glen-L Gathering T-shirt from the inaugural Gathering in 2007. It's a size Large and she thinks that she has only worn it twice. ...

What you've actually been presented with here Carl is not a design oversight or error, but an opportunity to add even more pizzazz to your masterpiece. Following along with what Bill and TomB (our resident board certified bent wood artistic design master) have suggested, you need to go with option 4...

Fantastic work!!! I really like the idea of a wood cutwater and from the pictures you'd never know it. Just when I was about to ask what lake the boat was on I noticed that you're in Big Canoe. We looked at property there a couple years ago and are still considering a move there. I hope to see your ...

Re: Hello, I plan to build the lightest TNT ever!

Lower weight wood is a good idea, but if you really want to save weight, to me, you need to have no electrical wiring (heavy), no electric starter (heavy) on the motor, and thus, no battery (heavy). For your evening runs, I'm wondering if there's solar lights with small charge batteries that would b...

We're hoping to get invited to Lake Martin this year but Covid has everything all messed up, so we don't know. If we go I'll make sure and let you know when we'll be there. Yes, finally a hands down no doubt NC instead of a split with USC or backing into it with two losses, although that Auburn game...

Yes, I did the cutting boards a few months ago. Actually, I built a mobile food prep and serving station for my outdoor kitchen that my cutting boards are part of. I'll send a picture when I get home.

Leftover Wood

While I've really enjoyed building the two boats that did, I'm pretty sure my boat building days are over. So, I've been using some of the planed wood that I'd saved for a potential third boat for some other projects. I did this bookshelf for my office last weekend. The deck planking look makes for ...
