Re: New member from oregon

It's going to be really hard to get away from the launch ramp with all the people wanting to talk with you about your boat.

Really looking forward to seeing the picture of your smile while out on the water.

Great Job!

Re: Michigan Squirt Build

All looks great Jimmy. Looking forward to seeing more pictures of you on the water.

BTW, the ACBS International Boat Show is at Lake Huron in Michigan this year. Are you going? Better yet, that show is the same weekend as the Glen-L Gathering in Tennesse, are you coming?

Re: Bob's Geronimo - 2nd time

First, follow chug's advice to ensure that you're actually trimming the motor all the way in because after doing this, you may not need to do anything else. Second, you could go with your five gallon bucket idea to figure out if the weight fixes the issue, but you might find it easier to work with w...

Re: Matt's Geronimo

I'm dialing in the deck fairing. It's all starting to come together! Yes, it certainly is. Your build is looking terrific! I know what you mean about the floor. It's hard to get that curve right up in the bow. I ended up cheating and the floor only goes to jut under the front seat boxes. It goes fur...

Re: New Zip from MN (and NW WI)

I won't be able to contribute much in the way of "how to" stuff but let me add this.Given this group's interest, if you do not know what a "cyclekart" is google it. And you can start ordering parts in the morning!! Looks like to me you have a lot of tinkering experience and so I...

Looking great!

I'm down in BR, but all the best lakes in Louisiana are up north. We might have to meet up one day and cruised together. Where do you plan to spend most of your time boating, Lake Bistineau, Cross Lake, Caddo Lake?

"No Joe, say it ain't so" :(

For any of you out there wanting a nice Glen-L boat, but don't know if you have the time or ability to build one, this is a great opportunity as you'll be hard-pressed to build it any better or cheaper than this.

Re: New member from oregon

She's looking fantastic, Joshua Yes, it is strange to take something out of it's protected shop environment where you've pampered and fussed over it out into the cruel world. To me, the tough part is more so the trailering than in the water around the docks. I pucker every time I hit a pothole, and ...

Re: Monte Carlo... is it the right choice

Personally, 45 miles on a jetski in rolling chop ain't my idea of fun. Doing it with a monte wouldn t be much better. And you want to take guests, so you'll need a boat that can do it comfortably and safely. In regards to design, i think it will be much easier to take a deep vee design and make the ...
