Maybe Mike will chime in on the alloy. I see he has his business up for sale, but is still doing business. I had Mike do two cutwaters for me and both were AWESOME. His expertise will be missed. I wish him a long and happy retirement.
Finished the sub-decking and cut the hatch out. This was a little trickier than cutting the big hatch out but I managed with too much blade wandering. A little more cleaning up and it will be ready for planking. Later I will start the motor and servo install.
I picked up that mahogany edge trim over the weekend and found a neat saw to use to cut out the hatch. Today I ran a test on how it will work out using my Mono-Coat trim iron.
