There is such a variance of equipment and location that changes the CG and CB of the boats, not to mention the weight, the best way to paint your water line is to apply your bottom paint slightly below where you anticipate the water line to be and later mark the waterline with the boat in the water....

Looks very nice. I think maybe the seat might be placing a C/B point high and could be causing the boat to wallow from side to side. These boats were designed to be driven with the driver positioned low in the cockpit. More of a kneeling, hunched down position. Smaller people might get away with sit...

The boat was designed to be powered by short shaft motors up to 100 lbs. Your 25 hp Yamaha may be too heavy and possibly a long shaft creating an unbalanced condition.

I agree with Bill. Put a good pump down there and Jack up the trailer tongue or find a good slope to raise the bow up to drain the bilge out the transom drains.

Check out the Renegade. Several variants in the archive photos show it as an OB, I/O, or jet pump. Much can be done to personalize it.
