Re: New member from oregon

Well I finally got to take the zip to a destination I have always wanted to go but have never been to, Loon Lake, it was truly beautiful up there, warm-water, Sandy Beach and beautiful scenery, the only thing that could have made the day any better is if I had not dislocated my left shoulder two hou...

Re: Tucker's Squirt

I had the exact same gap on my Zip, i used washers to space it, worked without issue, i kept playing with washer stacks until i ended up with 1/8" when finger tight, this gave me about 1/16" when the wheel was tightened down.

Re: Stephens Zip

I too used meranti/hydrotek, loved the look, i highly recommend using fine tooth blades in a jigsaw for cutting it, 36tpi or more, pretty clean cuts with those, i bought cheapie Ace brand blades, ran them till they started cutting slow then pitched them, they're cheap!

Same here, marked the floor with a sharpie, no anchors

Re: New member from oregon

So i think the final hurdle is clear for title and registration of my Zip, the oregon process is as follows. 1.) Pick up a homebuilders paper from any marina or dealer. 2.) Sign and notarize homebuilders paper. 3.) Have the vessel inspected by your county "marine sherriff" 4.) Snap three p...
