Re: Fairing the sides on the malahini transom

Is it possible to attach and glue the planking to the chines first and after this has set, fix the planking to the sheers? Or do you have to attach the whole side...

Re: Fairing the sides on the malahini transom

Thanks for the replies Peter and Jim. I think i skipped the "leaving a a little extra on the sides" memo. I will try and fix this by using the pattern on the transom, draw the sides just a little more inwards so i can continue the curve for the side planking. As you said peter, the line on...

Re: New member from Belgium

Ahn yes i know the plant, i live very close to Ghent and study there. Well atm we have a small polyester speedboat which is maybe about 3,5 meters long. With a 30hp motor it's good enough to ski a bit and cruise around with 4 guys on the local river. The malahini is indeed a very nice boat but we do...

New member from Belgium

Hi guys, My name's Nathan. I'm a 21 year old guy from Eastern Flanders in Belgium. I'm currently looking into making a Zip boat with a friend of mine. At the moment we're searching for a location to start our project and locate good places to get our materials. We would use the boat to cruise around...
