I used west systems 411 filler beads mixed with bote cote clear epoxy.
Mixed it up to a toothpaste consistency and squeezed into the gaps.
This week is sanding and then more sanding.

Gap in timber on deck is filled with clear epoxy mixed with West System Filler beads.
I'm going to sand the top deck in 1 piece to give a smooth finish

Outer timber will be stained in dark mahogany stain with clear over
Inner strips will be done in clear over natural timber.

Progress so far....
Top decking timber has been completed.
All done in 12mm thick mahogany, with a 5mm gap, thanks to the help of 100s of time spacers
Now it's time to sand.

engine cover
Not 100% if the engine cover will be timber, or upholstery, or a combination.
Rear open section will work as a fold down drink cabinet, with hidden lights.

Top finishing boards i used 12mm thick fijian mahogany for all the top decking. The layout will be as per the original style with all timber strips, Transom has a 25mm x 25mm bent top inlayed timber to allow me to slightly round the edge On the side i have decided to use solid mahogany as an edge so...

hull progress
I purchased the hull from a boat builder who had given up on the project 10 years ago.
When i got it it was just the frame and 1 layer of ply.
2 years later its up the right way and the interior work began

Thanks for the comments. I'm looking at putting a more rounded edge than the suggested method allows. Routing rebate into timber corner monaco

Hi all,
i'm at he point where i need to router a rebate into the plywood edge of my monaco to glue in some mahogany so that i can round the corner over.
Does anyone have an tips or pictures they can send me as i really dont want to make a mess of this.
