Re: New Memeber from SW Geogia

Welcome, Go for it! I built a Zip a boat just slightly larger than the FS. It cost a couple hundred dollars a month. The first month was obviously a little more to get started around 500. The scary part is to add it up at the end of the build. The cost for two people building the same boat can...

Re: Seattle Barrelback progress

Beauty! It's been great watching this build, you are getting really close now!

I kinda wish I had done the white caulk instead of inlay-ed contrasting strips of basswood due to caulk allowing for better expansion and contraction and repair-ability.

Re: MI Malahini Build, Post Flip.

I've always really liked the teal paint in contrast with the wood. Nice job on the build. Thanks for the update!

Re: modified malahini

If your mounting under the bow and directly on the sole the neoprene cushion really cuts down on the noise created from vibrations

Re: Vroom vroom is gone

Man! Seems like I am hearing more and more of these kinds of thefts from hotels. Motorcycles, boats, collector cars, etc. Many of them quite unique vehicles. Makes me wonder if they end up overseas. To steal something handcrafted like that is lower than low. Just curious because I dont have insuranc...
