I have a steamer from past projects. I'm more concerned of the look of the drastic twist. I didn't lay the batten back as far as I should on frame 5

The chine log that is...you laid yours pretty flat on frame six....I dont think money will twist that far...

Read through your posts so maybe I missed it but was wondering what length you were building yours. Was wanting to be able to fish 3-4 so was think TO build the biggest version So I started with the intent to do 19’9”...but somewhere, I added 4 inches... :lol: So, it will be 20’ 1”. I’m not complai...

So I started with the intent to do 19’9”...but somewhere, I added 4 inches... :lol: So, it will be 20’ 1”. I’m not complaining. Only issue now is that, with an engine, it will need to sit diagonally in my garage :roll:

I struggle with not winging it as well...usually I realize I didn’t follow the plans I look at it and figure, what’s the worst that could happen? Free swim? :lol:

I’m building the flyer right now at 20’ 1”. I will be flipping the hull once it’s completed and finishing it in Sumter, SC next Feb. you are more than welcome to come look at it then.
