i was in a party boat last month ( fishing) that was plywood and it was built in 72. not sure how much has been replaced, but it looked to be mostly original.

had my left knee replaced last week, been putting it off for a long time. I am glad its finally done. looks like I might be able to go back too work in march. Planing on building something on my down time, well as much as I can. :mrgreen:

also check the fuel lines for small vacuum leaks. its not uncommon to have a small one that is fine and idle, but under load it sucks air and kills the motor. while your at it check the carbs/ floats/ filters and diaphrams.

1st disconnect the power( better still is pull the plugs) put it in gear and try to spin the prop by hand. if it moves, you have spun hub/key. very common and easy to fix.

Glad that worked for you. Just a fyi, sun light eats up box, so try not too let them sit out in it. You can also hit them with some krylon spray paint if you want them too look better

there is shop on west el comanio that has made me a few over the years, its not too far past del paso. I will try and dig up an invoice for you. they were about the same as the stock stuff, but made to fit and better quality. might bet a little out of your budget, but my stoker cover is going on 7 y...
