Thanks to Bob Smith and Bryan for advice on the Monaco freeboard. Building is going well; the frames are fixed in place, the chines logs are installed and one shear beam is in progress. I added 2 inches to the freeboard and expanded the frames spacing from 26 to 28 inches. Everything is fitting toge...

After looking over the plans for awhile and comparing with available engines, I am wondering if one could add an inch or so of free board by extending the frames, breasthook and transom up by an inch.
