Re: 20ft Texas Barrel

I have a long board you can have. Only used once.
I purchased an air sander. It takes sandpaper 3x18. Also takes massive amounts of air. If you don’t have a BIG air compressor it won’t work for you. I was very impressed with how it turned out.

Re: Food

Millie says she thinks cabin 4 has an oven. For the money it should come with a cook. We will call Monday and find out.

Re: air file

Hi Ken. I have one of those. I don’t have your kind of skills to use it. Even an idiot like me can use the Hutchins. Use whatever tool you are familiar with that does the job. I just can’t imagine how much work the hand sanders require. I’m just lazy.

Re: air file

I used the Hutchins straight line sander. I can’t imagine sanding any other way. Have a good supply of air.i bought some cheap imitations first but soon threw them away.

Re: Monte Carlo... is it the right choice

I really like my Monte. Plenty of room for 8 people. It’s actually a pretty dry boat except for the rear cockpit. I didn’t put any rails on it so if you put one on it she would be very dry. There is 4 inch deadrise in the stern. If it was calm water Bimini would be an easy hour trip. If it was rough...

Re: Who's Going and Where

It's a mess down here in Florida . FEMA is basing their command center here at Lakeland airport as we survived pretty good.
Yesterday 11,000,000 people were without power. Our boat is a mess as we haven't had time to even look at it but we are planning on heading north Thursday morning.
