Hello all, New member here, been snooping around for a month or so now. I'm a 25 year old, newly married, dairy farmer from Wisconsin. I'm a fairly experienced woodworker, kind of a gear head, and love being out on the water, so mohagaony runabouts have always caught my eye as the best of both world...

Thanks for the input Roberta! That is what I figured, hull out of plywood, top coat of something other than mohagoney! I'm building a rocking chair out of cherry right now that consistes of laminates that are bent to shap, so i know first hand how it works. Just prone to burning is all!
