Sweet Deal on Stanley Sweetheart 750 Chisels

Amazon currently has their best price on Stanley's premium socket chisels (Stanley Sweetheart 750). While the four piece set with pouch is at a good price ($80), several of the individual chisels are at an all-time low price. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004UQRBCK?keywords=sweetheart%20750&qid=...

Re: Bosch 1375A 4-1/2-Inch Angle Grinder - $35.70 Amazon

You can see a plot of price vs. time and get an idea of their lowest historical price, but more importantly, yo...

Re: Thunderbolt

Dave: Welcome to the Glen-L forum. You may wish to contact Glen-L directly to find more about that particular builder. Might be they received that photo many years ago and lost contact. As far as modifications made at the stern, it looks to me that particular Thunderbolt is built as per the plans. T...

Re: Roberta's Torpedo

Roberta:

Please post a photo of the boat from the stern forward. I'm dying to see what the hull looks like from the stern (what with that unique design).

Thanks,

Larry

Re: Philippine Mahogany for Stringers

I've used the African Mahogany for frames and really like it. Bought 5/4 here in Southern California at Atlas Lumber in Chino for just over $4 per board foot (friend worked there so I got the good guy price). African is dark colored and has an attractive grain pattern. I prefer African to the Philip...

Good one Bill! But for the record, I'm a skier, not a wakeboarder. No ballast tanks.

Hoping Roberta puts a ski tow on that Torpedo so I can get a fast ride behind it at next year's gathering...

Re: Roberta's Torpedo

Roberta: I have that Extreme trailer under my 24 foot wakeboard boat and have been very happy with it. The construction fit and finish are remarkable. It is really nicely built with all rounded corners and all welds ground and filled. It looks good (if that's important!). It would be a compliment to...
