This sounds like solid reasoning. I will likely go with the Jimbo design because of the ease of build and the fact that it hits most of my criteria pretty well. As far as welding skill. I like the Jimbo design by Glen L. But, I would like to explore some other possible designs as well. I certainly dont mean to disrespect the gracious host of the forum.
