Re: Monaco builder from Australia

Good advise Ian, Important to be able to get under the boat during the build and before the turn. As with other builders I raised my form height to enable this to happen fairly easily. Just picked up on your post Larry and good to hear of another Monaco on the way. I think I might have said it befor...

Just cosmetic is fine and also fairly important by me, might also stop the odd item from ending up in the engine compartment ?

Re: Riviera powered by v12 jaguar

Good luck with running your King Plank and decking over your scoop, the timber running over the curves will have to be pretty thin but I'm sure it can be done. Look forward to seeing it........in October ! My question on the vent related to your proposed means of screening the front of the scoop. I ...

Re: Riviera powered by v12 jaguar

Nice....very nice. I really like those curves Pete.
How are you planning to finish your deck over the scoop ? and what sort of sweet purpose cast vent are you planning to use ?

Of equal importance....how's that trailer coming along ?

Re: AG2 Gathering - Where this year?

Hi Glenn Blue Dolphin seems to have the numbers and it looks and sounds like a good venue. Speaking of numbers, do we have any sort of idea on expected boat attendance yet ? I think it may be a good thing to list prospective attendees, "With Boat" and/or "Without Boat" The navigating guide is very h...

Re: AG2 Gathering - Where this year?

Thanks for the update Pete, Yes, the interior fit-out is certainly a large part of the build and we have all forgotten to do something along the way requiring the engagement of "reverse"...just part of the build process. It would be great to see your boat in whatever state of completion you are at, ...

We had great weather at Alan's formal launch recently. IMG_0302.JPG Good to catch up with Jeff and his Monaco build also. IMG_0346.JPG (Alan & Je...
