Re: Tom's Tahoe

Tom, I bought one of them machines, does straight and zig zag. It is one tough little bugger! Will se through 5 x thick marine vinyl and the foam no problems. I am doing pleated seats with hidden stitching with a piping in between the pleated and smooth vinyl. Marked out and worked out how many on t...

Re: Tahoe 23

Nice work Tony!
Looking very clean and neat

Have you put any date on hoping to be completed?

I am going to the Bribie Island regatta next May and then straight up to Sommerset dam for a week to a wooden boat gathering there.

No pressure, reckon you be ready? 😁

Re: Aussie Belle

Hi all, Thanks for the kind words and the advice in regards to wiring up the neutral safety. I will indeed put a relay in line before the switch. I am still moping around at the moment, still pretty sore and can only rest flat on my back when I lay down. But we are all alive and my daughters are kee...

Re: Aussie Belle

Hi Milhouse,

I am running no relay between ignition and starter, so that would mean I would run the cable to the starter solenoid through the neutral safety switch

Re: Aussie Belle

Thanks Alan, Assessed the boat this afternoon and took some photos for insurance claim. The entire length of the chine line has been scathed and will need to be sanded back, epoxy and repaint to the waterline and repair a couple of scratches on the starboard side of hull. New prop and most likely th...

Re: Aussie Belle

Thanks Milhouse, Have you got any info on the wiring schematics need to do this? I thought it needed a switch at the control lever? Don’t know much about them, you also wouldn’t believe the amount of people I have talked to in the last two days that dot have a neutral safety switch on their boats! K...

Re: Aussie Belle

This is the post I put up on Facebook for those that are not On there. Hi all, This is a story and a half, full of excitement, joy and shear horror! The day started out with some nerves as I got my 23 ft Belle Isle ready for its first splash in the water. She is not quite finished cosmetically ( win...

Re: Aussie Belle

Thanks guys, Spent overnight in hospital, but bruised and battered but ok. It was a scary experience and something I hope no one ever goes through. Family is very shaken and I am a bit of a wreck emotionally but will be ok. Neutral safety switch was a bad oversight on my part and nearly paid the max...
