Re: Ski KIng Newbie

Ok, I heard back from my t-trooper friend. It's not much but this is what he said "There isn't much info out there. The environmental police web site can be found at mass.gov and search environmental police. What I can tell you is that any EPO can do the inspection and assign a VIN. Have him call 80...

Re: Ski KIng Newbie

I haven't chimmed in on the forum lately due to multipal trips from Nashville to MA, due to a parents medical issues, I just haven't had the time for anything else, but, being from MA originally, I can lend a hand. You have to declare anything you haven't payed sales tax on and pay that sales tax, s...

Re: Engine won't idle when warm

I agree w/novass, check for a vacuum leak. Also, as he stated, is the timing set correctly? Ignition timing must be set before any carb adjustment. And if the idle air mixture needs adjusting afterward, warm the engine and turn the mixture screws out til the idle hits its highest piont and stop, in ...

Re: Deadman throttle info

Roberta's right, no shifting and no wires with the deadman throttle. It's basicly a hotfoot pedal, just hand operated.

Re: CRACKER BOX

I agree with Lowka, you should beable to find another sb chevy without too much problem. You can swap the marine parts over, also, you still have all the other hardware and driveline from the donor.

Re: Thinking about a crackerbox

Sounds like a rocketship any way you look at it. Glad to see another Hydrostream owner, like myself, converting to home built wood. I'm still in the in the stage of picking the right boat to build. After seeing the Hotrod and the big mohoganys at G4 the seaflea I was going to start with just won't c...

Re: Another view from the Gathering

I agree with vupilot, I'm also a victom of it. I was planning on a small hydroplane to start with, but after the gathering and seeing the builds posted online by Dave L and Billy C, I'm thinking of something bigger. Just too many boats on the Glen-l site to chose from :? . Boating is addictive as it...

I've got plans for an tiny titan in hand, but, after the trip I'm looking at all glen-l options. Oh, by the way, it was ...

Re: Before You Leave

Milfoil is no joke, rinse boats, motors, and trailers. It spreads like wild fire and can take over a lake if not properly delt with. A lake in my home state got infested and you couldn't go 50 feet without getting the weed tangled in the prop, which also helps in spead. It cost the state, town, and ...

Re: IT RUNS!!! and steers and shifts.

CONGRATS!!!! On the ethenol... also don't forget the pickup tubes in portable gas tanks, if thats what you running. Some have metal, some rubber or plastic. I've had that issue, if the pickup is rubber the ethenol weakens it and turns it to goo, sometimes resulting in a broken pickup tube in the mid...

Re: G4 Registration

Hi, I'm new the forum and have plans for a tiny titan in hand, but haven't gotten started building yet. We live within 3 hrs of Nackajack and my wife and I plan on attending, we haven't made the decision whether or not to bring the NON-GLEN-L boat, but we'll be there. I'm looking forward to seeing s...
