1:1 is the most common used here. You have plenty of power. I don't know the details of the 73C. Mostly see people using the 71C.

Re: TEST BOAT

Ken I don't plan to test two part PU's. I believe they are clearly the best UV protection. But, I can no longer use two parts. Auto 2-part requires a much finer sanding and goes on very thin. I'm sensitized to the 2-parts and I don't have a spray booth. I have a 10 year test of Interlux 2-part on th...

Most people radius the edge, say about like a pencil (remember those?). Then sharpen the edge with more epoxy.

Looks great! You're right. Don't deck it out until everything you can install is in. It is hard enough reaching through the framing to work. I've added a few thing and it is really painful to work behind the dash in some twisted position in the dark.

Looks great! Be careful with the heat down there. Maybe early morning work sessions. Even if you have AC in your work area, you can probably get it down to about 95*F or 32*C. Be careful.

My stringers are laminated 1x's. Each one also is spliced. The splices are not under the engine.

I have hydraulic on the Bartender. My choice was based on it taking less room in the engine well. It does work well. You do need a round, multi-spoke steering wheel. They creep around over time. I have Tele-Flex on the Tahoe and it works well.

I also have my spreadsheet from building the Tahoe, finished in 2008. It has materials that you may not have thought of. PM me, anyone, with your e-mail.
