Re: G-12 "Friday Lunch Run To Chattanooga"

She lives! Kinda.? I bought a new battery for the Lola boat (Tahoe). The engine fired right up! :D The problem now is no cooling water. I didn't make note of how the cooling water pump mounts. It is blind and difficult to reach. It is probably not that bad to do. But I don't know how. My fault! That...

It was a struggle. I did manage to get the Koozies ordered, yesterday. :)

Re: G-12 "Friday Lunch Run To Chattanooga"

I'll put her on the charger in the morning. If that doesn't work, I'll be buying batteries. Bad week. Nothing has worked. I just tried to buy koozies. What a pain!

Re: G-12 "Friday Lunch Run To Chattanooga"

I don't know if I have a boat this year or not. The Bartender is down to get the deck redone. I got the Tahoe out just to run her. All it would do is squeal. Won't crank. I got my jumper box out... nothing. It has been a bad week. I got a new tablet to be a monitor for the drone... It doesn't work. ...

As always nice work. That jig is the ticket! Go slow you can still get blowout.

Yes it is hot! I'm trying to get work done on both boats. But 94* and 80+% humidity, sure limit working time down here. It's also dead calm, no air at all.

See you in a few weeks,

I could not fit the bench across the back behind the helm. I did put one long way down the other side.

I agree with Kelly! I can't tell you how many hours I worked on one of the boats when things at work, or with the family, or with the house were not going well. It's good therapy! And, you get a boat.

Re: Malahini Bow Rider porpoising

Rob Since you added seats up front I don't think there was that much weight lost up there. Put your sons up there and see if there is a difference. I don't believe in using to fuel tank as ballast. It's weight is always changing. My thought is that 26 gal is a lot of fuel/weight for a 60 hp. It does...

Rick

I used the displacement weight. Displacement is the max. safe design weight of everything, the boat, people, gear, engine, fuel... Think it was 4000#.

Welcome. There are a few builders up your way.

My mother was from Nevada. My father was from Thayer.
