This transom doesn't look that heavy to me, lots of parts. I don't know the Gentry build up. Here is a picture of the Tahoe 19 build up. Both, top and bottom have that heavy laminated build up. That makes transom drains impractical.

Re: Monaco Restart

You might check with Hundley Chris Craft. They have tons of old parts. You might have to do some work to clean the stuff up. They are in Lake Houston TX.

Re: In hull Transducers

I've wondered about this, too. I'm not happy about my exterior one and didn't think I wanted a thru-hull.

Draining between the knees... I would either drill a drain hole through the sides or just fill the space in.

Neat boat for sure. The tag on the side says Higgins.

You laugh. But, I've seen the video. Somebody had RC boat and truck. They came down the beach backed the trailer in, and launched the boat.

We are all facing this. I bought from Homestead in Ohio. If you can buy all at once you get a discount. That discount was more than shipping, to the a local terminal and local tax. That even covered renting a truck to go get it..

I'm on the coast right now. I've an appointment in B'ham., Friday morning. If I need surgery that will be next Thursday. This is the same guy that did my shoulder a few years ago, excellent.

Thank you. This why we want everyone to post pictures and document their builds. There are two bonuses. First, you help others. Second, down the road, you can go back and see what you did. It's a real help. My memory just ain't what it used to be.

If it's 1/8' to 1/4" radius, I wouldn't mess with it.
