Re: Bandido.... Any current builds??
David Mcbain has photo's and also Nick Moschis. I have the study plans right now...can't find anyone close to Middle Georgia building one (90 miles south of Atlanta). I'd like to know if the bottom transom could be flattened at the back and use short foots if using outboards or would it mess up the ...

Info on the Cummings
If anyone has a setup, Can you forward to me info regarding what is the setup using a Cummings Desiel w/stern drive. What I'm trying to research is for a 5500 displacement on the Bandido Deep-V, would the Cummings perform well as a single engine with enough RPM's to run the boat at a decent cruise? ...

Re: New member: Would like Bandido builders to share build idea
If anyone happens to know of a team/driver that runs Factory I offshore, let me know. Reason being, there are particular setups and hull design with hull pockets on the bottom of a Deep-V that produces air and in effect, causes aired water to reduce drag. Before building a Bandido, I'd like to ask a...

C-Flex, S-Glass, High-Tech versions
I just got my study plans for the Bandido and have a question regarding fiberglassing. On the fiberglass version, do you still plank the boat with a cold-mold, then apply the fiberglass. I understand fiberglass molds, but it seems that the plans describe a mess that once it's soaked and dried, it be...

I place a new topic for info on the Bandido also. Dave, I just emailed you regarding the Sept. 16th event. We can make that trip. I've read so much of this forum, I'm going to get fired!

New member: Would like Bandido builders to share build idea
:D New member: Chris Brooks, Macon Ga. I just bought the Bandido study plans and need to get a user group of members that have built, or in the process of building this boat. I’ve been looking at Scott Ure photo’s and I can’t find his member name to send questions thru the forum, but If you know his...

New from Macon Georgia. Want-a-be Gentry builder.
Hello all. I'm ordering the Gentry is a few weeks. I'm handy with wood work but not proficient. I have a lot to learn with terms, reading plans, etc. Any advise, I would greatly appreciate it. Beleive it or not, I built my 50 x 38 shop just for the purpose of building a boat! Hope I can pull it off....
