I am the VP of Sales for RAPTOR and I would be glad to assist you in correcting this issue as it certainly sounds abnormal. The other individual that y...

Re: Composite Staples & Nails

Thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences with the RAPTOR staples, brads and finish nails. As many of you know, the composite fasteners will not rust or corrode nor will they damage sanding belts or saws. They are easy to sand flush to a surface (or away if its a staple crown). This also means...

Re: Patrick's going to the WoodBoat School!!!

I am gearing up for the experience and look forward towards a week of measuring, sawing, nailing, sanding and sailing! Does anyone have any recommendations of "must haves" for this trip?

Re: Gentry build continued

Hi guys, The RAPTOR finish nails and brads hold 2X better than steel so you do not need a really long nail. We recommend the shortest nail possible to penetrate about 3/8" into your substrate. We also recommend that you leave the nail slightly above the surface and sand it smooth. This will eliminat...

Re: Raptor Brads

Dave, when you drove your Raptor brads did you drive them to sit proud and then sand them down or did you drive them flush with the surface? Could adding a little putty help? Are there other alternatives outside of pulling metal brads and staining over the empty holes?

Ken, We can send you samples. If you don't have access to the tool you can demo one for trial. We just need more information about your application.

Would you happen to have any photos that show the dots up close that we could take a look at? Are the brads staining darker than the areas around the...
