Urgent Prop info needed please!!!

Hello folks... i built a 24'6" Tahoe put a mercruiser scorpion engine on it with a velvet 1:1... What prop do i need to get and where can i get it from?

Ah great thanx for the reply. Iv used the bristol finish before on bare wood. But will it stick to epoxy ?

Her name is Contessa Well after a long long break from working on her i picked up where i left and she's now almost done… i need to sand that top coat off and re do it with proper stuff as this was not compatible with the epoxy base and is peeling off when u even if u fart next to the boat! I took a long break from my projects as i started fiberglass boatbuilding... but i started back on my Tahoe and will be finished soon. Ill post pics of that in cple weeks!

Hi Natho The boat should be way faster than the speed i got... i planked the whole thing with 12mm ply rather than the 9mm which is what the plans called for. Reason was simply cuz i used what i had... stupid mistake. So the boat came out really heavy. If i had used the 9mm i would easily go over 60...

Hey Richie

I went with a 90HP... got about 48mph. Boat handles it no problem. I just went ahead and beefed up the transom anyways!

A 40 would be too slow.. at least for my liking!
