She looks really nice. The eyes are great. I have a 90hp etec on a stand in my garage and it looks huge, but on your boat it looks just right. Hopefully on mine it will look right too.

I see where you are coming from on getting her on the water. As time drags on with my build, I am beginning to wonder if I'll ever get finished. I have spent an entire year trying to get the finish I think I want. Is it really worth it?

Matt, if you had one sheet with the puzzle cut it would be simple to make a pattern with mdf and a router with a flush cut bit.

Welcome. I am in Louisville quite often. In fact we recently bought a house in Cherokee Gardens. Once you get going I would love to see your progress when I'm in town. Also, when going to the gatherings, many times I swing through Louisville before heading down if you need a ride.

Michael: Some things will not dissolve in water, but will in alcohol. Others need acetone or other types of solvent. Unless you know exactly it is trial and error to find out.

So, I said I was going to do initial sand out of epoxy over fiberglass with 80 grit paper on a longboard. Well, it was taking a long time to do a little section. I switched to 60 grit. Much easier.
