Re: Camper for Dodge Dakota with extended cab.

I think if it were me I would get the importer plans and modify them but it would also depend on what your needs are

Re: considering the Juniper or Klamath

They probably can't e-mail the information to you. All of the plans are old, hand drawn, and dated. The Malibu is a good looking plan one I considered before deciding on a truck camper.
You shouldn't have to wait long to get the plans in the mail I think I received mine within a few days

Re: considering the Juniper or Klamath

I personally prefer the Juniper as I think the floor plan lays out better.
unless your travels take you into a lot of tight spots I think you will be happier in the long run with the 20 foot model.

Re: Camper Jacks

Check Craig's list. Most of the time when it comes to jacks you will only find old junk but sometimes there are good things to be found. also if you don't mind traveling for them you can search all the different Craigs list sites through Google just type in what you are looking for then site:craigsl...

Re: Everglade

What's an Everglade look like. Post a photo. :? I couldn't sign into the Customer's photos. I have not started building my camper yet but here is a picture of the one that inspired me to buy the Everglade plans http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o44/Dan8089/rvpic16-26_zpscae1f0c4.jpg The whole camp...

Re: Everglade

After doing some research on glues it appears that epoxy may not be flexible enough. I used liquid nails on a motor home once but did not like the results that I received. When glued items were later taken apart the bead of glue had not compressed to my liking and the joint came apart with little di...

Re: New guy building modified cascade

Wow your not wasting no time!
Lookin' good I especially like the side profile.
as for your siding choice it has been done before and from what I can tell it looks to be successful. The only downside is there will be additional weight.

Re: Everglade

I am using Gorilla wood glue and T-88 epoxy. Gorilla to assemble the frame and the T-88 to attach the plywood to the studs. That's good to know! It seems to me that Gorilla glue is one of the best glues on the market right now. I started rebuilding an old motor home a while back and I used no glue ...

Everglade

Just picked up a set of plans for the everglade. Haven't decided if it is going to be a camper or modified into a motor home since I have a dead class c rotting away in the back yard and only a 3/4 ton standard cab truck (seems kinda small) Wondering if people are using glue and what kind? was think...
