HVLp with a 1.8 tip. The remark about stucco me laught because that is about what it came out of my gun like. I reduced it down 20 percen,the directions said to reduce it 20 to 25%. just hit it real hard with 220 grit paper on a orbital sander. . Not sure if I want to hit it again or go ahead and sp...

That is the answer I'm looking for. it never gets onl only worse... So I will go ahead and sand it now. And yes that' remark Soun sounds like.. Is that normal?

Im shooting interlux epoxy primekote and it is awful thick. Hit it 220 sandpaper and was going to 2nd coat it or should i sand out all the orange peel 1st ?

Yes I have it feathered in smooth but can see the fibers ( not feel then). and i am painting the hull. So im i ready to go or more epoxy? Didnt know if the edge of the fibers would do something funky to the paint. I tryed to take some pixs but it would show up.

sanding into mesh

Ive just about got my hull glassed. where the glass is laped over on the kell, when sanding i started to touch the glass.( did not go through, just started to touch.) and also blending in the 2nd side you can see the edge where i feathered it in. is this going to cause me any problems down th road ?

even the wood that in open air (The boat itself) is rising in moisture, not just the wood in storage. The transom is 16 % now and was 12% all winter. Am I worrying about something i should'nt be.

moisture content of wood

Now that summer is hear the humidity is raising the moisture in my wood. all winter it was about 10 to 12 %. now its about 15 to 16 %. when do i go buy a dehumidifier ? It seam to be affecting my plywood more than my boards. does any one else have this problem ?

Im finally got the cuddy sport faired out and am ready to cut limbers into my bottom battens. I could use as much advice as posible on this. My plan was to cut each of them right behind the fasteners that hold them to the frames. My battens are 1 1/8" thick. Im having a hard time deciding how deep a...

I have been fairing last few weeks.just about done I think. right now my keel is 3/16'' in 18' convext. is this to far out ? should it be straighter. The aft 8' is flat as could be and then it drops as it goes forard to the bow. Boy I hope I didnt scew this up !
