Re: Laser Level

Thanks Billy. I did not think about Ryobi. Skil is $100 with tripod and accessories.

Laser Level

I am looking for a cheap rotary laser level for a project. Has anyone purchased a Skil or Harbor Freight rotary level. Wondering what you think about them, if you have one.

Re: For Dave Barrett

Would have like to see Auburn win, but they played a hell of a game. Like coach said they wanted Florida to play 4 quarters and they did that.

I say they still are winners in my book!

That is one neat boat. Looks more like a claw foot bath tub to me. LOL. Like to see a video of it in the water.

We feel the same way Bengal. Love to see the Alabama Teams win, but you said it right - they got to where they felt entitled!

Re: Zip winch attach?

I used a stainless welded eye bolt. It was 3/8 inch bolt, which is plenty strong enough that it is welded closed. Don't remember where I bought it, but it was too short to go all the way thru the stem. I welded a piece onto it. You maybe able to find a welded one long enough, if you search ebay or t...

I also know how you feel. I sold the flying saucer couple of years ago and still miss it, but it did go to a great couple that really enjoy it. I think they are planning on the gathering this year. They went on Sunday last year and saw just a few people.

Re: Homemade stick welder

Bill, glad to hear that you are teaching kids to use tools. I learned plenty for my dad. Too many kids now know very little about basic house or car maintenance, let alone how to do it. Unless something changes with kids of today, I envision no plumbers, electricians or carpenters. If it not on a sm...

1/4 inch plywood maybe a misnomer. It maybe 6 MM. If you look at most plywood now a days, a 1/2 inch is no longer a half inch, etc.
