Bribie Island sunday May 27.....classic boat regatta will be good to check out the old boats , and the venue, it is salt water it may be a site for a first gathering i will try to post some pics of Grafton last year ,,,,still can not get this 3 picture thing right every time........ Double folding doors perhaps, each door would only be about 5'' with seals, there is some very clever hinges that would allow doors to fold back in front or behind opening, from each door jamb, and still keep your opening size.... I like the tug look, i plan to build a Rebel tug after i finish my Ri...

Hi, Ihave finished first layer of ply , it went okay but i am not happy with how i finished the bow section, i will do better on next layer, i sanded the side ply back like a scarf joint and laped bottom ply over then sanded back to shape it feels right but looks like crap, next layer i will butt jo...

Peabody it is very easy to get hooked on this boat building.i have only just started this build and i have got another two planded already , i have two sons who run rings around me working in wood, eldest son Jamie is building Aussie Bell we plan to launch them at the same time in the same place.......

Raymake you should try teciglue ca it is solvent free, no odour, washes out in water and is very strong,I have done many tests on it and canot fault it ,i have butt joined timber and have had hit it with a big hammer to break it, does not bleed out it is a structial epoxy...... Bill does that offer for the cabin still stand, and would there be room for one more, my wife is thinking of comeing to she rides a section of the national trail every september but she is takeing a spell from horse rideing after she kicked and got her leg broken ....we have always wanted to visit C...

Hi,

Have almost got all of the first layer of ply on... couple of photos attached of how i have been holding the ply lams down with screws instead of staples...it is working very well....
