Re: Yamaha W500 Power

I'll bet their isn't much diff. between the kawasaki as far as pumps go...The biger the pump, the more water pushed through, the more speed. I wouldn't mess with anything smaller than a 650 size pump.....

Re: Filling screw holes

When ever you fill a spot on wood with a substance a lot harder than the surrounding area..sanding it will have a tendency to remove the softer plywood area around the filler, fighting a high spot .... This is why wood filler works fine in furniture and cabinets they make it to match wood type.... Y...

Re: Jet powered Cracker Box

It is way simple to put a slight V into the frames and blending into the grafted hull. No mater how sharp of a turn I would put my boat into it would never suck any air....Besides their are no flat bottom jet skis so that's why I modified mine... If I had it to do over again I would go with the Dyno...

Re: Making a Jet TNT

And went with a foot operated throttle which is real nice having both hands on the steering wheel... Looking good , looks like some spare horsepower too ..got any detailed tr...

Plywood stitch and glue panels made with cedar strips

I have come across a ''canoe-kayak" website where some of the builders have substituted the plywood for 3/4'' cedar strips, This is a good idea, for those who can not get marine ply. without paying high shipping costs...A few examples of gluing up 1/4''thick cedar strips into flat panels: http://www...

Re: Chastized for putting my Squirt on small outboard page.

This Topic is simple and specific for all boats that have been modified to install a jet-ski motor and pump. Most of which have been 3 basic hull designs. All the modifications from plans etc. categorized into one simple place.... I remember how it was when I modified my TNT, before this slot was es...
