Those coconuts look like Buko (young coconut).
Buko juice is a very good drink, from the Philippines,

Be careful of cone shells, cone snails, that are occupied.
Some of them have a stinger that can get you, out of the end !

Re: Neel's Palm Beach 22 build

Well, I went to his website, and clicked on his video (youtube), it was worthless, just awful. I'm sorry for that. He spent 3/4 of the video just talking, then the last bit was after the work was done. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVO2WFSEpx8&t=20s he contributed nothing to actually achieving the...

Re: Rub rails

I just went with wood rub rails, but then, I have a painted hull topsides. The rub rails are the same wood as the inside carling, so that helps the wood matching. I had thought about the stainless rail caps, but never feel the need now some 10 years later. http://www.glen-l.com/phpBB2/download/file....

Wow!!
I didnt think of the Great Loop as so much more than a boating adventure.
Your trip is more than a boating adventure, it is a vacation/adventure/cultural trip.
And yet you still have a long portion to go.
What else is ahead??
OMG!! What a trip!!

It looks like you are making good time. Gosh, at this rate you might be going north back into cold weather before spring.!!
What a wonderful trip in your own boat.

12,000lbs @ 1.7gph is pretty good. at your weight and speed you into the bigger prop diameter/gear ratio area. can't very well get there with a outboard. But, Suzuki offers the deepest gear & biggest prop of any outboard I know of. they have one with a 2.29 gear and 16 dia prop Our local Sea Tow ope...

Core gaps is the single biggest factor in marine vs other grades specs The 1088...

For the curing in cool temps, have you tried to lay a electric blanket on it to keep it warm?

Good to see you back to the loop.
Do you know yet if you going to do the Keys, or the Big Lake across Florida?
