One other thing I forgot to mention!!! I saw a wicked little boat. Looks like the super spartan w/ a picklefork design, but not. Anywho it's buy spidercraft boats. A 9.9hp will do a speed of 30mph maximum. Really nice design, fiberglassed, unsinkable foam injection, fully bonded hull, marine grade v...

Squirt or...TNT?!

OK. Amatuer boat builder here. I've only built a Tuffy with my father. Since he understands the math, and I under stand concept/design and speed and the rest of that jazz. Anyone's opinion matters! :) I am looking to either build a squirt or a TNT. Does anyone want to reply back to me what the pros ...

You know what'd be great?

Man. If Mercury made a smaller set of optimaxes other than the 75,90,& 115hp that would be great. I wish they'd make a 40,50,60 DFI like Evinrude E-Tec. I am a huge *ss Mercury fan so I won't buy anything but. Who else would want a smaller optimax?

Fuel Question

Ok. So I had an idea of putting in 91 or 92 octane fuel for my 50hp 4S EFI Merc. Does anyone think its a good idea to put in 91/92 octane fuel at the starting and the ending of the season to clean the fuel injectors and what not? So everything isn't all clogged up w/ the regular 87 octane fuel durin...

Why 136lbs when you can have 105lbs? Yamaha - 25hp - 2 stroke 15 or 20 inch shaft.

I have a 248lbs Merc with a 3 blade stainless steel prop on it. It overly increases the max. capacity of you...

This friend I have at my cottage on my lake. His TNT has a short shaft 25hp 2 stroke Merc on it and him and I clocked it as 32mph using a GPS.
