Who knows, we all need goodies. I have a 10 degree strut with water pickup built in, I think from a Jersey Speed Skiff, and a turn fin. Probably have some other stuff to bring too.
Nothing like a Horse traders paradise

After all this work I would like to see it get wet. Definitely bring yours, Im sure we ( the un-finished ones ) would like to see each others...

Steve
I noticed that too. If it has only dried a week or two, it is not impervious to acetone. But I did wipe the bottom of my boat the other day that was painted about a year ago, and it didnt immediately take the paint off.
I guess it needs to cure for a year or more , who knows

A note of caution. I tested some nice looking ply , 3/4" 9 ply sold under the name sandeply. The guy at home depot didnt know if it was EXT or not. I was using some for a cabinet job, so I cut a piece and boiled it in water for a half hour and left it sit in the garage soaking in water for 2 weeks. ...

Go on ebay , under Buisness and industrial / manufacturing and metalworking / metals and alloys. You will find plenty of aluminum angle. I used 2 x 2 x 1/4 6061 for a SBC, they use the same for top fuel motors in drag boats. I dont think you need any stronger ! These companies will cut it for you ri...

I will be bringing a VHF also, i guess ch5 is OK. I dont ever remember any traffic on it. I beleive its reserved for ship to ship traffic and I dont think there will be any of that in Guntersville. Most people around here use 68 for recreation chatter. We should be able to use low power to minimize ...

Hey, I bet there isn't anyone on here that hasn't hooked up something backwards in their lifetime

The good thing is that it popped up on plane, I would consider that a success. Keep plugging away

About the Teleflex anchor point; Wait until the gathering and take a look at how I anchored the end. I was going to use a Teleflex anchor block until I saw how much ! It was almost as much as I paid for the whole steering kit. I used 2 aluminum blocks bored and attached to an aluminum bracket. It to...
