A quick Google search shows most of the chalking nd bedding compounds (as well as the 3 m silicone adhesives) do come in sausages.

I often work in a storage lot with no power. It would be a major pain to have to take a compressor, hose, and generator each time. Bill They use very little air. You could probably get away with like a 10 or 15 gallon tank full of air. Then again you really don't want to transport a pressurized tan...

Those things do not work, you can get an air powered import for less then the cost of that plus a battery.

60 hours is a short week for me. Having 17 employees currently and looking too double that next month. Just trying too finish up a government contract so I can get back too building homes. I am hoping too build 75 homes this year.

Well I have been banging out parts for the last 2 weeks straight. I have to say, I bought too much machine... it can move then the 1 1/2" stock at max speed with the 12 hp spindle.

well now that I have a cnc router, I would put the drawings into cad/cam and have it make them. :mrgreen: ( really loving it by the way, its just a very expesive toy until next week anyways) if not I would get some of the tracing paper by the roll( often found at art supply houses/ craft stores) and...

personally I would go with 4.


you will find that a lot of stuff is made too go on 4" c channel. so things like tire holders and jacks can be installed easily.

I must say some of the new software out there makes writing g code a breeze.

almost ready for it to start making money. need 3 more items:

1 better dust collection

2 more tool holders

3 material for the job I bought it for.



hopefully I can start making money this weekend.

not sure on the weight, but very heavy.


it has a 12 hp spindle and a 40 hp vac motor... 440 3 phase.

its going in my 40x60 steal shop.


to be fair its way more than I need, but the price was right.

I have a bunch of them form when I owned a cabinet shop.( you can never have too many clamps.) my exp is they do wear out after a few years of every day use and they don't like glue on the bar. I would never use them to clamp up a glue up or to pull a joint together. as a "quick clamp" while you do ...
