As you have to punch in your data the metal will have to be soft. I think SS will be to hard and the plate will deform.

For the classic look i think bronze with black paint, where the logo, text and data-fields are polished. Like on old cars and motorcycles. I

Maybe Glen-L could make a plate with the Glen-L Logo and everyone could stamp in builders name, launching date, HIN-number, length aso.
I would order one of this plates to put on my boat, and I guess most bulders would. A new item in the web-shop

What a project... :twisted: 8) I'm not an expert, but that propeller looks like it has very low pitch (and maybe to much diameter) I think 36mph is "nothing" when you put maybe 140hp in a 11' boat. Future designs and plans

Based on the info about Barrys retirement and the fact that we all grow older, will the future bring more new design and plans from Glen-L, or will they just continue to sell the already existing designs from Glen and Hankinson. Anyone that knows?

If the screws are stuck in epoxy, just put a soldering iron on the head for a few seconds. The heat will soften the epoxy and you can unscrew. When the epoxy cools down it will have full strenght again.
