I spent a great deal of time coming up with a name for our tugg-along 18....it hit me when someone said your slower than a turtle.....so there fore we decided...I.... was slower than a turtle on a sunday ride....thats how the name "TURTLE SUNDAZE" came to be..

during the last two weeks...I blocked up the tug/trailer so I could remove the axle....and install a disc brake kit...the 4 flanges on the end of the axle were corroded beyond use..this is where the caliper mtg. bkt is bolted to...so I had a friend (he is a welder)...install a new flange....I also i...

in answer to your question....the tugg-along is flat bottom, designed for calm waters....we have had it out in the gulf of mexicoand in choppy water...it handles well in a small chop.....if your thinking of the sherwood queen...I'm sure that would handle rough water...better than our flat bottom tug...

I had a discussion with a friend that is starting to build a flats flyer......he feels that he can glue 3 pcs of 3/4 marine ply together using the slo dry glen L epoxy...w/o any thickeners......were looking to get other opinions....so he can decide which method to use....

tugg..........to the best guesstimate....I have used approx 3 gal of fuel.....for approx 9 hrs....maybe 3/10 of a gallon per hr....we were out last sunday to do a video for a power squadron in michigan...one of their members is down here and wants to do a program about boat building.....So I got pic...

I like what you are doing with your self bailing aft floor....wish I had done that.....I have been doing some little details/changes inside...changed to a 4 bladed prop...little less speed/ more power-thrust......check out my post..W.

tugg-along....performance info............I have had the boat weighed....with approx 6 gal fuel, 3-4 gal water, inc refrigerator, lines, shore power cord/water hose.....water ready...weighed....2550 lbs....it sits in the water...level, side to side/ level, bow to stern....draws 3-4 in of water.....t...

the tie down engineering brake kit....complete inc actuator/rotors/calipers w/pads, hose kit, mtg. bkts., and complete hardware..right down to all new lugg nuts...
